Principal
Justin was admitted as a solicitor in 2000 and has been practising ever since, building his knowledge and expertise. His studies were completed at QUT in Brisbane where he graduated with a double degree in Law and Banking (majoring in both Business and Finance). Although highly skilled in all facets of law, Justin takes a special interest in Family Law, Personal Injuries, Succession Law and Criminal Law.
His career in law originally began in Brisbane, before Justin relocated to Hervey Bay in 2002 where he currently resides with his wife Ellen and their three children. Justin has immersed himself in the local community and is the president of the Hervey Bay Cricket Association, a Board Member of the local Bendigo Bank branch and a founding member of a local not-for-profit organisation “Rally For A Cause”.

Hamish Isles

Hamish obtained his law degree from QUT in Brisbane before being admitted as a solicitor in 2015. He grew up in Maryborough, moving to Brisbane for university and the beginning of his career before returning to the Fraser Coast in 2016. His passion lies in Criminal Law and Estate Planning.
Hamish loves all things sport, especially golf, cricket, touch football and AFL. He has a strong connection to the Fraser Coast community through his volunteering with the Maryborough Touch Football Association and Taylor Street Community Legal Service. Hamish also undertakes Legal Aid matters.

Shani Mitchell
Solicitor
Shani was admitted as a solicitor in 2016 after completing her law degree with USQ. She grew up in Bundaberg, relocating to Hervey Bay after finishing high school where she currently lives with her husband and their young son. Shani initially acquired a job in a local law firm as a receptionist, where her love of the legal sector began and she was inspired to pursue becoming a solicitor. While she enjoys all aspects of law, Shani has a special interest in Family Law and Commercial Law.
Shani undertakes Legal Aid matters, and dedicates her time to various domestic violence support networks in the community. She also volunteers at the Taylor Street Community Legal Service.
